The Adult Secondary Education Council provides voice and representation for adult educators and literacy instructors in Manitoba.

We are committed to continuous learning and professional development, providing our members with two conferences per year.

As a non-profit volunteer organization, without any paid staff, the strength of our work is in the commitment and dedication of our members.

CANCELLATION NOTICE

In consideration of current events with COVID-19 and the rapidly changing situation, ASEC regretfully announces that we are cancelling our Spring Conference which was scheduled to take place on April 17, 2020. We would like to thank everyone for their preparations, commitments, and interest in this year’s Spring Conference, however in light of recent decisions made by the Provincial Government and Health Authority, school divisions, and businesses and organizations across the province, we would like to do our part to ensure the health and safety of our members and the community.

We extend an invitation to all the presenters and organizations who have confirmed to attend the 2020 Spring Conference in hope that you can share your time and talents at our upcoming Fall Conference on October 22 and 23, 2020 at the CanadInns Polo Park, Winnipeg, Manitoba. We understand that due to the current circumstances, it is difficult to predict upcoming events, but ASEC is committed to continuing to plan upcoming professional development opportunities for our members. Watch the website for more information about the Fall Conference and the call for presenters form as they are released.
